I didn’t create this space to be perfect. I created it because life has a way of piling up inside you — the moments you never said out loud, the memories that still tug at your ribs, the truths that don’t sit quietly just because you tell them to. I needed somewhere to put all of that. Somewhere honest. Somewhere mine.
I’ve lived enough life to know that the things that shape you aren’t always the things you talk about. Some of them happen in silence. Some of them happen in chaos. Some of them happen in places far from home — on unfamiliar streets, under unfamiliar skies, in moments that catch you off guard and leave you changed. Cuba did that to me. Trinidad and Tobago did too. And so did a hundred small moments in between.
This space is where I let those moments breathe. Not polished. Not edited. Not dressed up to look better than they were. I’m not here to impress anyone. I’m here to tell the truth the way it arrived — messy, beautiful, complicated, necessary. If you’re reading this, you’re stepping into a part of my world I don’t usually open. And maybe you’ll see pieces of your own story in mine.
I’m inviting you to walk with me through the places I’ve been, the people I’ve met, the things I’ve learned the hard way, and the things I’m still figuring out. I’m inviting you into the quiet moments, the loud ones, the ones that changed me, and the ones I’m still trying to understand. This isn’t a curated journey. It’s a real one. And I’m bringing you with me.
I’ve already started telling my story in my books — the truths I lived, the ones I survived, the ones I finally stopped hiding from. Book One opened the door. Book Two walks further in. And this space… this is where everything else lands. The pieces that didn’t fit on the page. The moments that still breathe. The truths that still matter.
So come on this journey. Come as you are. Bring your own stories, your own scars, your own questions. I’ll bring mine. And somewhere in the middle, maybe we’ll find something worth holding onto.
